Strikingly aristocratic, Bernese Mountain dogs are one of the most attractive of the Swiss working dogs. Boasting a strong and sturdy build, friendly disposition and a soft and silky coat with a thick underlay, this dog breed is cherished for being large and lovable.

Bernese Mountain dogs are good-natured pets who love to be included in all aspects of family life, making wonderful companions. They are affectionate, patient and especially good with children, protecting them if necessary. They are social and need to be with people and given affection. They will generally bark to advise the arrival of visitors but will soon settle down again. Provided they have been introduced to cats and other household animals when young, they will live with them happily.

The Bernese Mountain Dog will suit a home-loving owner who has space for this gentle giant, likes grooming and enjoys an affectionate but not particularly active companion and doesn’t mind some canine drool.

About us

Greta Sage is our 4 year old AKC registered female. She has a wonderful personality and has been a wonderful and loyal companion. The Bernese are known for their sweet and loyal demeanor and she exhibits that in every way. Ryder is our two-year old male and he brings a lot of spunk into our family. He still exhibits a lot of the puppy energy, while having the Bernese qualities that make him an all around wonderful companion. These two are truly more like two more humans in our house.

What We Do…

We don’t take breeding our dogs lightly and want to provide families with wonderful companions. Having the most loving and loyal dogs coming home with you is our main goal. Our puppies are hand raised and whelped in our home with love and lots of attention. They have plenty of room to run and play indoors and outdoors. Our puppies are socialized with our adult dogs, our family, goats, cat, pigs & outside arranged stimulus. We provide our puppies with purposeful environments they will need to thrive when they come home! We begin potty training, grooming, car rides, good manners training, monitored social interaction in small groups, & more. By the time your puppy is eight weeks old he/she will be a confident, happy, healthy puppy!
